Five point harness system, 3 level adjustable straps, rear and forward facing, latch equipment as well as a removable cup holder. These are some things you would see in a lot of child seats these days, however the Safety 1st Complete Air 65 has a few really cool features to it that most seats dont have. First on my list of favorite things about this seat is the excellent padding it has. Just about everywhere your child sits is fully padded including the large wonderful headrest this seat has. This will allow for super comfort while traveling, which I know as a mom is essential to a happy comfortable baby especially when on long road trips. Because seriously who wants to have to tolerate a screaming child for 8-12 hours who needs to stop every half hour because they are so uncomfortable?! Not me! The comfort of this seat is sure to keep them feeling cozy for longer than most other seats would. Second on my list is the fact that this is a seat that works both rear facing (5-40lbs) as well as forward facing (for children over 1 year 22-65lbs). This amazing range of age and weight for the seat allow you to use one single seat for the entire time your child legally needs to be in a car seat. Unless of course you are bringing home a preemie weighing less than 5lbs, but for most people this would not be the case. No hassle of having to upgrade 2-3 times in your child's life from infant, to toddler, to booster seat, this seat can do it all! And 3rd and last (but especially not least) is my FAVORITE feature on this seat, the latch system. Well you might think duh, most seats come with latch these days... But hear me out! Call me crazy, and maybe this is just new to me, but in all my car seat experience (and I have went through about 6 different seats) I have never seen latch technology like this seat has. Instead of the simple clips most seat latches have for installation, this seat has a mechanism with a button to push to latch and unlatch. Usually when installing latches you have the uncomfortable job of sticking your hand in between the seat to feel for the metal latch in your car and un-clip the little metal latches of the car seat. Not any more! This latch system is long which allows you to stick it in the seat without having to shove your whole hand in and simply push a button to open and close latch to attach to your seat. Awesome! This is great for me, especially when having to move seat from one car to another when baby goes to grandmas etc. Like I said call me crazy but a simple little thing like this which makes installing so much easier can make THAT much of a difference! LOVE IT! LOVE THE SEAT! And I think YOU'LL LOVE IT TOO!
